At Tierpark Gettorf you may feed a variety of our animals.
However, please note that feeding is absolutely prohibited at certain enclosures. Please obey the signs which help us to guarantee the welfare of our animals.
You can purchase animal feed at the cash desk or from vendors directly in front of certain exhibits.
- Rusk is suitable for all kind of animals
- Pelleted food you may give our hoofed animals
You may also give small portions of well rinsed fruit and vegetables without mould or decay.
In any case please feed only small amounts, since obesity is a problem for animals too.
Under no circumstances should you feed uncooked noodles or other pasta. They may cause heavy colics and substancial pain in our animals!
